Finally, some good time spend to do some updating..

Had a wonderful night with Ignites (w Nee's 5mins appearence) @ ViVo.
Went with GH, together gather. Should've taken the train.
We "bin duah", took a straight bus, and it costed us 1over hr of our lives.
Luckily we've each other to chat with.

Aft Ting left, GH, jess, pei and i, we went to open space above ViVo for some quality time..
Very nice (with the xin yao concert just behind us) ambience. The unsparing cold win just kept blowing towards us, our sexy Pei was freezing.

Everything was so pleasant until one irritating creature - Cockroach; decided to make a special and unexpected appearence. Goodness.. I was like freaked out. It kept flying around and we were making a din there. Anyhow, it spoilt our mood. We walked to the train station after that.

I'm slowly getting the 'hang' of the office's culture. Made some new friends. It's always the stepping out for the first time that's difficult. It's the most challenging, most worrying, most feared, at least for myself, that's the case.

Isn't it so?

Well, you might say that i'm a sheltered brat, well over protected. But i really felt that way. It's the thought of stepping-outa-comfort-zone. You psycho yourself "be calm, stay cool, everything's gonna be alright..", but then, you subconsciously realised that your palms are sweating..

Anyhow, i wish all of those on first job, a smooth & successful one!!

Raining hippos when hun came pick me after his appt.

Went to some showflats in Kovan area.. Heh. It was rather fun.
Viewing the concepts displayed, and trying to appreciate the crazy prices...

Whatever, then we went off to AMK Hub, wanting to watch our long-craved movie: Hancock, Dark knight, Hellboy... But then... All theatres are almost full!! (first row) So we gave it a miss.. Hopefully will be able to catch in during the wkdays..

That's the naggy me. That's my pattern. As Hun identified.

So... In the end, we had BROWNIE... & Classic Anderson Ice-Cream!!! :P

Last MC-day

You might have guessed it.
HOME.

It feels quite good to laze at home, alone.
Wierd? Well, one might have been too engrossed with their daily happenings that they've totally forgotten that they've not spend sometime on his/her own for quite some time already.

Everyone is soo used to zooming in and out of the house, day and night, non-stop.
Back @ home? --> Time to ZZzzzzz....

Lazing at home, i can do whatever I want. Eyes glued to my lappie, NO work emails, only what I choose to browse. Cool. Uber Shiok-ness.

Random:
Tmr's time to remove those stitches, actually to be honest, i'm really worried. I'm soo afraid of pain.. Threshold only this low. I wonder if i'll cry. I hope not. I'm scaring everyone around me.. PRESS ON!!

This morning Frank msg-ed me telling me to enjoy my last MC day. Indeed, i've come to realised that i'm on the last MC day. So fast, time flew without me knowing.. That's the reality i guess..

Rights, monday on, no more isketch for me. Boss back. Less msn, changed seat. To a super high-traffic place. :( Stupid SH. Move for what.. Now i've to take his seat. Thou the honour of sitting beside this cute-looking-dude, i just have sth against him for giving me last minute tasks. Tsk. Nxt time give earlier la dey, then i can knock off on time ma.. On the fact that you're indeed a hot-stuff (what SH claimed as CLEO's moxt eligible bachelor), i won't be calculative with you.

It's another day home with MC.. I'm contemplating if i should go back to work tmr..

Anyhow, back tracking to yesterday...

It was around 11am+, and i just had my session with my lappie. So i decided that i should take a nap or sth and wait for mommy to come home from work.

Jess called, she asked for my address. She told me that they wanna send me a get-well card. I thought it's rather troublesome and there's no need to as i can meet them for lunch or sth one of these days.. But she insisted, so i gave.

Minutes later, I went to washroom, and i thought i heard knockings on the door.

At first i was reluctant to ans the door, thinking that it might be some 'cao salesman'.

Then as the knockings remained persistent, and it only grew louder.. I decided to take a peek at who it was. I tried to look through the peep-hole, but it was total darkness, then i heard pei pei's voice and gh's voices.. So i immediately opened the door for them!! I was sooo over-the-moon to see them. Cus my place is rather out of the way in considered in the suburbs.. To know that they came the distance, it melted my heart.

GH, Jess, Pei, and nee turned up minutes later!! With pwpts of us!! She came, at almost 12, eventhou she had to work at 1pm.. I was so touched.. And also..

TaDAAAA!!!! - SUNFLOWERS for a SPEEDY RECOVERY!! :D

Lalala.. So happy....

About 2pm, our porn yip was having hunger pangs.. so we headed down to kopi-tiam for lunch..
Like usual, he's soo nice to help us get our food as we sat comfortably at the seat, waiting for our food...

Yesterday, Gh managed to suprise us with our order!!

Pei's prawn mee soup --> become prawn mee dry..

I wanted Minced pork bee hoon dry --> sliced fish bee hoon dry.

Champion man.. First time i see such a 'gourmet'.. Teach me how..

The auntie preparing also quite innovative la.. I thought i only heard of sliced fish bee hoon soup. Got dry wan meh.. Hahaha...

Frank saw the picture, he still said it looked not bad, quite delicious..

4 stitches

I broke my head yesterday.

Don't ask me why and how, cus i really have no idea.
This was what happened yesterday morning:

I woke up around 7am, feeling urgent, and needed to go washroom.
I left my bed feelin giddy, but it's sth normal for me.
.
.
.
.
And the nxt thing i knew/heard was:
"Jie Jie's bleeding!!!" - My sister's suprano scream.

I regained consciousness slowly, and i felt my mom continue to wake me up.
Then she was looking for that wound.
Dad switched on the lights as it was barely 7am, still quite dark.

Mei Mei said mom's arm had blood flowing down.. Well, i didnt see it, but it sure sounded scary. Blood drips was everywhere, it splattered far till my sis's bedside. It must've been a heavy hit.

Mom spotted that wound and said it was almost 4cm~ vertically long. "Surely have to go stitching".

Wakao, that really freaked me out. I'm most afraid of needles, now you tell me to stitch myself.. WTH..

They were looking all over the place to see where i've hit myself. They similar blood stain on the doorframe. So the deduced that i hit my head against the door frame.

Now the question is:
How did i feel giddy in my room and fell into my sister's room?
Did i fainted and knock myself or did i knock myself and fainted?

I absolutely have no ans to those questions.

Went to God pa's clinic, to see what could be done. I was definitely against stitching!! I wanted sth like before, where they used some tape to tape up the wound, like the one above my eye 3 yrs ago.

Godpa did some observation and told me that he had to stitch it up.
Cus the wound is rather wide and deep. ~4cm long. Lucky thing is that i haven't hurt my skull.

I cried like a baby. I begged him to spare me of those stitchings.
Cus stitching = needles (anesthetic) + needles (threadings)

So if you're afraid of needles like me, you better take good care of yourself. I'm an example.

I dunno how many times i've mentioned "painful" in this post but it was really freaking painful.
Half of my hair was wet (blood). So they were like sticked tgt after it dried up. The stale blood smell was horrible, but i had to bear with it. O, and i lost a patch of my hair due to the stitching requirements. But luckily it's somewhere discret, unless windblows.. -_-'''

Over the wk end..

Oh well... Time for some wkend relaxation?... Well i was cruel enough to make my hun work hard for his lunch.. Heh! Guess what, my long-sought-after portabellos with sausages!! This time, sausages are not the normal kind. We bought the expensive kind, made from fresh meat! Plus the baby portabellos which are bite-sized and topped with mozzarella cheeesssseeee... YUMMY!!!

Sausages, pan fried. Portabellos are baked in oven.
Not too hard, you might wanna try it!! Super tasty!! *slurps!*

Back date to saturday out day out.

Had a bbq to go to in the evening.. So in the aftnoon, we hung out at far east.

But before the hanging-out part, of cus we can't forget our yum yum lunch!! We had fish and chips at Manhattan - PS. It's good man. As good as you thought fish & co was, but price wise.... much cheaper!! We had fried calamari too!!

He got jelat of my takes.. :P

Haha.. So long since i played peek-a-boo!!

Headed for BBQ with hun. Met his colleagues and spent quite a fair bit of time there.

Food was good... ppl were good.. 11pm headed for mid-night movie at Shaw - Lido. 10 of us caught the movie "Red Cliff". Long movie, with sucky ending. But overall still not too bad. Won't tell you much why the ending sucks, (spoiler) you gotta catch it to find out why.

By time reached home, was like almost 3am....... Goodness.. Record late.

Super tired.. Dozed off in the car while Frank gave a lift to 3 other colleagues..

Guess i really need some good training for staying up late...

No such thing as expiry.

Met up with my other Ah Dear ytd. Thou a short time spent tgt at far east, definately a good trip made. I was glad that afterall, i sticked to my promise and nv let her down again. (i've been postponing dates with her since many times ago - Sorry Dear.)

Shop shop and eat.. And the best part is definately the part when she showed me her certificate and testimonial!! Seeing such great results on her transcripts just made me soo happy that for a moment that i forgot that i didnt do well on my end.. Ha.. It's alright.. Glad that she's so successful in life, till date. Sure will, in future. My Ms Management trainee, young and able.

So happy to've known Diana. Definately a good 'catch'!! :D
We were on our way back tgt and took some silly pictures tgt.
And after sooo many takes, this (the first taken picture) was the best shot.


I'm sure we'll be hanging out more often soon! When we all are more or less settled in our own spaces..

Done blood tests, urine tests and even ECG.
I'm still waiting for my blood test results to be out..

After seeing doctor, I went for Arnold's at City Plaza!!
What can be more satisfying that fried chicken in your hands?!!!

Any other day...

I'm not supposed to be doing this at THIS hour..
But i'm really feeling a little groggy at work.
So i really hope by doing this post i can perk myself up a little..

Since tuesday i started work, other than the office, i've popping out of office as i basically followed bosses around.. I'm supporting 3 managers with their paperwork (sound easy?.. You try), and today, i was supposed to help another one. So *count fingers* 4 of them..

Stress~~~

Anyhow, 1st day's lunch was cheap deal. Had it at some stalls within the other industrial building. It costed me only $1.80!! (I had been telling my mates about it.. Super auntie)
Second day, immed boss's treat to pasta mania! Yes!! Pasta, my favourite. Lunch is really a rewarding thing you look forward to most of the time! Third Day, think still free meh?! I paid for my dumpling meepok. $3.
