Bangkok - Day 2

Day 2 is like the true start of our trip with our tour group.
Official day of visiting places of interest of Bangkok.
Thailand's monarchy is sth great, sth respectable.
for many years, the empire and the royalty are passed down to the following generations without fail.
The governance of the country is not by the King but the official government.

Like Singapore, they have their elections.

This college is specially meant for only the royalties. Not for the common.

This year, the king is 80 years old already. He is celebrating his birthday on the 5th Dec. It's sorta big day for Thailanders. This year is also the 60th year of throne by the same king. Thus there are 2 great celebrations for Thailand.

Every monday, 90% of the Thais will wear yellow. This signifies the respect paid to the king. On wednesdays or so, people also wear baby pink colour. This represents good health to the king. Cool right?

90% yellow was worn on that monday morning.

First destination: Chaophraya River.
This river is the main life for Bangkok. Transportation, food, making a living, etc.. The Thai relied heavily on this river. We travelled along the river in a boat, allowing us to see the scenery, and the way of life in Bangkok.

We arrived at Wat Arun - Temple of dawn.

It's really tall man. and the relics of it are so damn well done.
The glitters and shimmers, colours and stones. They are unbelievable.
Anyway, we were given a choice to climb up to the top of this temple. Cost 50Baht per person.
I didn't wanna go up, it's damn high. The steps are so freakin steep! I've fear for heights, especially when there are no safety attchments.
In the end, i still went up. Dad la! Insisted that one person follow him up.

I'm literally shaking up there. My legs were so wobbly.

Check out the steepness.
~Goosebumps~

We visited the 4 Face Buddha before lunch.

Oh, after all those, we proceed on to the rest of our trip. Pattaya. We need to take a bus ride of about 2hours. On our way, we visited the tiger and croc zoo.

Check out the eyeliner on the horse's eye, or isit dark eye 'rings'.
Whahaha.. See the baby tiger also.. It's only few months old!

We fed the camel.

Our tour for the day ended as soon as we reached Pattaya after dinner. We went walking around, appreciating the land of night life.
